Mature Elvis Fan 75.. Why are you always so bitter? If you don't like a FTD release, ignore it, don't buy it. I personally, look forward to all the wonderful FTD releases.

How can anyone be bitter about any FTD titles? They offer unreleased material. Isn't that what you want? Okay, so if it's a concert or session from a period you don't particularly care about, then don't buy it. Nobody's forcing you. But why slag off a source of unreleased material?

Another double FTD soundboard! If it's true, why complain? Granted, the Feb 1973 season wasn't very strong. Elvis was in a post Aloha letdown, and it showed on stage. Nevertheless, I'm sure there's enough good material on a double CD to make it worthwhile. The title they chose means absolutely nothing. At least it's tied to Elvis. Heck, they could've titled it "Folsom Prison Blues."

Yeah Lefty, that'd be great title. I don't think anybody's used that one before! Or how about "Live in Las Vegas"

To get a new 2CD with unreleased material is a real treat!!! (Even if Febr. '73 wasn't the best Vegas season). FTD has soon fulfilled their promise of releasing something from every tour, LV- and LT-seasons. Now we only miss something from Aug. '75 and Dec. '76 regarding official releases of the LV-seasons. I am really looking foreward to the tours now. I fully agree with the comments below, FTD should do something with the titles! It is too easy to use song-titles all the time. They remind me of bad bootleg titles. What will be next? "Teddy Bear Man Kicking Ass" or "The Power Of E Rocking The House - May 1977"...?

Just maybe, it's I'll Remember You from the '66/67 sessions ie an FTD revamped Tomorrow Is A Long Time release. Now that would be soooo much better than another soundboard.

I could ask those who dont like my comments to ingore them,i made a statement about there titles,i am not interested at this time of any more live shows outside of On Tour,And a few others!

Hey emjel i agree, but we both know it probally isnt the case, some of you take things wayy too serios,no one is making me buy the releases but no one is stopping you from buying them either!
You Dont Know Me wrote on November 04, 2008
I'm very sorry to say Elvis unlimited emailed me this morning to CONFIRM (via Ernst) that this will ONLY be a one, YES 1 CD set release.
whetherman wrote on November 04, 2008
oh well, 1 CD it is then. The thing is I've already got a CD with this title, its a August '72 Las Vegas show. Surely there's a better way to title a a album other than from one of the songs in the show.

Is the in person track listing still a secret!
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on November 05, 2008
Yea john i know what you mean, bordem will do that to a person,no idea how he stayed even half way sane,i thought for a minute that maybe emjel was on to something but then came forgot that all outtakes will come by the mighty mighty classic album series, wouldnt a nice outtake set from those 66,67 and 68 sessions be cool and have a booklet with pics and a cool write up on the sessions,i know crazy though isnt it! (here comes those men in white again)

i ordered "Elvis Country" from them and won't get it until December...that would make "I Remember You" a nice Valentine's Day present using the logic of the ordering system.

None of the shows from this season are great, but there are a couple of decent ones. The best bootleg releases so far are "Dont Think Twice" and "Vegas Rhythm". As for layout, we know that FTD can´t compete, so I hope they have picked one of the better shows. Since I´m a collector, I will buy anyway, but I really hope we get a good show.
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on November 05, 2008
As for layout they dont wont to compete, when imports look better than your projects it shows the lack of pride, but many will tell you, they cant afford to give booklets or even a hire someone over 5 to make there designs!

How are these available for pre-order on Amazon? FTD are supposed to only supply fan clubs with these releases. That's the whole point of the FTD label. It's supposed to be for collectors and the releases are supposed to help finance fan clubs. Fan clubs obviously can't compete with Amazon prices, so WTF is going on? Is it FTD just getting greedy?
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on November 06, 2008
You can get them at cd universe also, but at a shocking price, when the label started i thought the cd's were pretty much printed for preorders and it would be a limited run,but thats simply not the case, and how dare you mention greed and Ftd,ernst might close up shop with talk like that! We better be good boys and girls, now say your sorry!

FTD are to be applauded for ignoring bootleg releases and keeping certain material out there for all to enjoy, LEGALLY - I look forward to this release, well done FTD!!
