I've got a dirty, dirty feelin'
Dirty feelin's goin' on
You know I almost hit the ceilin'
When I woke up and you were gone

I took you in when you were hungry
And now your cuttin' out on me
I'm gonna help you little darlin'
That ain't the way it's gonna be

I hear you're pretty good at runnin'
But pretty soon you'll slip and fall
That's when I’ll drag you home with me girl
I'm gonna chain you to the wall

You know I’m lookin' for you baby
I ain't gonna take it layin' down
I heard that you were cookin' baby
Way on the other side of town

I've got a dirty, dirty feelin'
Dirty feelin's goin' on
You know I almost hit the ceilin'
When I woke up and you were gone

A leftover from the movie "King Creole" which is really dated and one could tell it in 1960 when the album "Elvis Is Back!" came out after his release from the army. To me, it's a throw away and at that way too short in duration.

Rollicking rocker that hits on all cylinders. I would have loved to see Elvis do songs like this live in his later years.

I've always admired this Rock 'N' Roll song immensely and it should definitely be much better known than it actually is. It's yet another masterpiece and gem written by the brilliant and iconic songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. It's one of 24 songs that Elvis recorded that was written by Leiber and Stoller. I've never skipped it. 5 Stars.

Great rocker from the fantastic "Elvis Is Back!" and "Tickle Me" LPs!

It sounds like an 50's recording which isn't necessarenly a bad thing. Tickle me is the only Elvis movie I never saw. Good for me?

A brilliant rock song from EIB but for some reason was inexplicably short in duration. What we do hear is a guy that on his day can out rock anyone on the planet.- 5 stars from me

Love the song but wish it was longer.

Elvis, The Jords and the band deliver this one like a freight train at break neck speed. Just because the song didn't make the final cut from a great soundtrack ("King Creole") doesn't mean it was subpar. One of many great tracks on the "Elvis Is Back" LP and horribly placed in the movie "Tickle Me". Most of the songs they picked for that movie worked; but this one did not.

Elvis leting everyone know that he could still do Rock'n'roll if he wanted too. The first line of the song makes you want to listen.

Not one of the better songs on the otherwise, spectacular, Elvis Is Back album. Originally submitted for the movie King Creole, one can tell it's a bad leftover. Lame, very lame song.

A great song from one of the music industry's greatest albums, 'ELVIS IS BACK'.

Leiber/Stoller supposedly submitted this song for King Creole but it didnt make the cut. I'm glad Elvis remembered it when he returned from the Army. A great 50's style rocker with a blistering guitar solo. The whole band was cooking but it was too short however. From King Creole to Tickle Me. The song deserved a better fate than that.

A really nice rocker that is well sung by Elvis. Yes, it is a pity it is not that well known, but thinking about what songs this session produced it´s only natural. It´s also a little bit too short to become hit material. Still, a very nice song that I never skip

A great song which keep going in your head after listening to it. Looking through today's glasses these lyrics look so "innocent", while back then the "Parental Guidance" sticker surely would have been used if it had existed.

Such momentum -- you can't help but get caught up in it! And Hank Garland's guitar pickin'? He sure does show Burton a thing or two!! As for The Jordanaires, they make this song (especially bass singer Ray Walker).

Good song. I enjoy it when I hear it, but it's nothing special.

Great song with Elvis in great rocking voice. What a pity it had to be belittled in the awful Tickle Me with the horse.

One of his great rockers and I really love it. Lyrics are suggestive, befitting his style. Definitely a favorite of mine to rock my hifi and my car more than often.

One of Elvis' best songs. Hasn't dated, pity it is not so well known. Full of energy and a very catchy tune.
