This was Elvis' final night in Las Vegas which began with the postponed "invitation only" dinner show. The following midnight show broke out in a wild water fight among singers and musicians. The climax of the show were the Colonel and Lamar who appeared on stage dresses as Santa Clauses.

The first version I heard was the one appearing on The Las Vegas Years LP. I thought it was great. After some time I heard the version on Elvis in Person, and it was even better. That performance blew me away, it still does. Elvis at his best
