1 StarAnother BMG (buy my garbage) exclusive for the that elvis fan on your list who was born on another planet, and may not have heard these songs 3000 times.

4 Stars4 Stars4 Stars4 StarsWhile it is criticised for inlcuding sentimental ballads (the king of rock 'n' roll covering True Love?!), I actually prefer these non-soundtrack cuts. I Need You So, Tell Me Why & Is It So Strange stand out for me. As for the true soundtrack songs, I tend to skip over them- not because of their quality but because I think it spoils watching the film if you hear Mean Woman Blues or Party too many times. Save the former for the crackin' diner/restaurant scene in which Elvis has a dance-off.
