EPE mentions that due to unprecedented response to the collectible TV Guide covers and requests from around the country, Wal-Mart stores along with other local retailers in some areas have agreed to continue selling the collectible TV Guide until this Thursday, July 15.

Does anyone know if the "sales" of the single that comes with the mag can qualify for a gold or platinum award ?

To the smartypants at elvisnews. I am well aware I cannot watch American television in the UK. I wanted these mags purely from a collectible point of view. Rather dissappointed that the tv guide company chose to rudely ignore my e-mails.

you people who have these t.v. guides should consider yourselfs very fortunate, because they are not to be found anywhere in or around toronto, canada, ton's of walmarts and other stores in this huge area and lot's of t.v. guides but none of 'ELVIS' and when i ask about it i'm just told they have never seen them. enjoy them people,i wish i could.

Even though these mags are nice, what a cynical ploy to sell extra magazines!! Not just put a CD on the front, but print them with 4 DIFFERENT COVERS as well!

TV Guide has always supported Elvis with their covers, they usually do mutiple covers for Elvis Week in Aug. It's good publicity for Elvis, as everyone in America sees them on news-stands & it's nice for fans to get them. The US fans are lucky to be able to buy them. Here in England, without the help of kind US friends we never see these things!

There were NO TV Guides delivered to my area, Sarasota, Florida. I had to fight and scream at TV Guide in Pennsylvania to get one copy! I really wanted them all! They really blew it! They said that they just short shipped my area that week and none were ever delivered!! Shame on TV Guide!!

I think it's nice. I'm not gonna collect them all, I just bought one. BUT I wanted that Aloha cover. Instead, all I could find at Walmart was the '68 Comeback cover. It gives you the opportunity, where such is, to choose the one you want.

Of course the multiple covers and the CD are designed to sell more copies and there is nothing wrong with that. For a lot of us it makes it more fun to collect them all. It always amuses me when Elvis fans complain about the choices they have when it comes to buying options. Nobody has to buy all of the TV Guides, nobody has to buy all of the FTDS (no matter how many they make), etc.
