From a posting on the FECC message board. In the U.K. Elvis received three new #1 hits. The chart statistics in the U.K. were updated for the new edition of the “Complete Book of the British Charts”. The albums "Rock `n` Roll", "Loving You" and "King Creole" all hit the #1 position in the Record Mirror LP Top 10 in 1956, 1957 and 1958. These three years had never been covered before by the various British Chart Books.

    Regarding the Record Mirror charts, it was either them or Disc that also gave Elvis a UK number one position for 'One Broken Heart for Sale', not generally regarded as a UK number one! Perhaps this should be looked into & updated too! Bernard Roughton
