It is written and compiled by British fanclub president Todd Slaughter with international Elvis expert Anne E Nixon. The Elvis Archives presents the documentary truth about Elvis, a truth that has so often been forgotten amid the deluge of hero-worship, criticsm and myth-making of the past 30 years.

Elvis was often thought to be recluse, but the rare images contained in The Elvis Archives show him in the company of some of the 20th century’s most famous people: pop stars, politicians, potentates and presidents. They reflect the enormous impact of the poor boy from Mississippi who was to change the world and whose life story was so uniquely remarkable as to need no embellishment.
