And then we can buy them in DVD-Audio a year from now and then HD-DVD-Audio two years from now....how many more times will we be asked to buy the same material without giving us anything new? Thanks for nothing BMG!

Quit your complaining. These aren't aimed at the Elvis collector. These are aimed primarily at the general public who doesn't already have them. Elvis "fans" should be thanking BMG for restoring these albums to the main catolog instead of bitching. Hopefully this signals the eventual return of other important Elvis albums such as " Elvis Is Back" and "Elvis Country"(to name just two) to the mainstream catolog in the near future.

I don't know about the rest of the Elvis fans, but I for one was really hoping - and actually looking forward to it - that FTD would start to re-release every single record that was released during Elvis's livetime; not just to re-release the soundtracks, but also the studio records ...such as "Elvis Presley" and "Elvis" ...but now I will have to wait and see...

To Jon Carpenter: We´ll get the classic albums like Elvis is back , Pot luck and the other albums on Ftd. Ernst says this in an interview, so it will happen. TCB.

Thanks for your response, but where can I find this interview (just tell me the name of the page and I´ll try to find it on Google). But will those re-releases on FTD include "Elvis Presley", "Elvis" and "Loving You" that BMG is now re-releasing? And will it be: 1) 7” format cover (like a single or EP) 2) Original back and front cover 3) 3 panel Gatefold sleeve 4) 8 page booklet with photos and memorabilia

To Jon Carpenter: Do you have the Ftd catalouge ? Ernst talked about to release the classic albums on Ftd, if the 50s albums also will be included, I don´t know. Ernst said there will be some unreleased alternate takes on it. TCB.

Thanks for that, but sadly no, I don't have the FTD catalogue . I still ordered it though from Elvis Unlimited when there was a special offer in October: "order an FTD cd and get FTD Catalogue free" -well my shipment is still "in the mail"
