Time to remaster the picture and sound, and and put these movies in "Blu Ray" and then they would sell big, again !

kink56 i've been waiting years for the widescreen version of Loving You. Who knows if we'll ever see it?

Elvis movies are shown on TV still like during Elvis week and sometimes during Jan. There is no need to show them other than that. Except for a few, they are silly and had no relevance in the 60's much less now. There are really no old movies shown on TV by except on TCM or maybe another cable movie channel, especially light fare from the 60's but classics are always shown like Marty, Cool Hand Luke, The Godfather, you know, 'real' movies. Elvis movies were mostly shown at 4:30 PM, after school, and very badly chopped up but that was over 40 years ago. Times do change!

Why is Loving You always missing from Paramount boxes? And I have always wanted to see the missing scene of "Where Do You Come From" from Girls, Girls, Girls.

I find it so sad that Elvis movies are NEVER shown on TV any more ! At least releases like this will keep his movies alive for some. A Set of the best movies would be great tho. King Creole, Jailhouse Rock, Wild in the Country, Girl Happy, Roustabout, Frankie and Johnny, Double Trouble, Live a Little, Change of Habit. For me that would be a great Elvis movie box set !

Elvis films are as relevant as 95% of those released in the past by anybody, and like many things Elvis whether it be music or films, then this type of release will impact a certain section of core fans and interested newbies. It is light entertainment for a bit of escapism, and if it gets a few more people on the Elvis train who want to delve deeper into his music, then it might prove a harmless and useful exercise.

it's time for paramount to come from their lazy a.s. and looking in their vaults if there any mssing things and unreleaesed footage. But what an easy way. Also quick buck. Ok for the people who's don't own elvis movies

Elvis' movies have about as much relevance today as button shoes. I can just imagine teenagers of today looking towards 'Kissin' Cousins' or 'Fun In Acapulco' as a way of improving their lives... Get a grip, pleeeeeeease!

Fully agree on that Olivier-fan. Most of the movies are light entertainment and - sorry for some on this site - just fun to watch. Also the fantastic King Creole movie offers a better way out of bad behavior. If one watches now-a-days movies it is sad to observe the violence in language and body - originating from a bad mind. So we should offer more uplifting and light hearted fantasy than violent bad mouth/bad behavior movies. Everywhere the words sh*t and f**k (to name a few) are common now-a-days. It is horrible as it comes from a bad mind. Let's indeed show more of these movies.

Indeed, Jerome. So it's not for your viewing. Sorry

These have been out several times before. It's a good deal for someone who doesn't already have the films , but what we want now is for these films to be released on Bluray.
