1. Opening
2. Blue Suede Shoes
3. Heartbreak Hotel
4. Love Me Tender
5. King Creole
6. Bossa Nova Baby
7. Memories

9. You'll Never Walk Alone
10. Suspicious Minds.

As we already knew, there were over 40 tracks recorded for the session including 'Burning Love' which is absent from this list. Sony states they are going to let fans hear the album tracks very soon.

Oh, No! Burning Love is so awesome. I hope they don't leave it out!!! However, Bossa Nova Baby is great, the drums are superb. Easily the best track on the album...

I'm shattered 'it's now or never' isn't on there... the version I heard was so different and fresh and Elvis sounded as though he had rerecorded it. Haven't heard Bossa Nova Baby but can imagine... hopefully there'll be a volume 2!

Yes, good question; why only 10 tracks! What is this, a Camden Budget LP!?
Steve V wrote on September 19, 2010
10 tracks was the typical Elvis LP back in the 70's Guess they wanted to keep up the tradition!

It's not quantity which counts BUT quality. The first single release from the album 'Suspicious Minds' released on 25th October is outstanding.

ARE THEY CRAZY??? Why not It's Now or Never on this album? I hate SONY.

Are the versions the same from the show, just recorded in a studio? If so, King Creole is sung by a female singer. I don't remember You'll Never Walk Alone in the show. 10 songs is just not enough. I will buy it of course. :)

Before people get angry any start hating others, we should ask ourselves if this track listing has been confirmed. We had a similar issue recently with people thinking that songs were missing from the complete masters box set because an error was made in compiling the list. I have done a bit of digging and cannot find a track listing. Sony are still saying that it is to follow and none of the on-line retailers show one. Maybe this list is right, or maybe it's wrong. It is too soon to know yet.

Actually there's only 9 songs listed here, unless Elvis recorded a song called "Opening", though I've never heard of it before.

I hope we get more than 10 Tracks on this "highly anticipated" CD. It would be such a "let down" if it was only a 10 Track CD !! I hope "Burning Love" along with the others mentioned are on the CD. RCA-Sony please don't let us down !

Memories is a beautiful song and should be there but why 'Bossa Nova' ..this song was the start of his decline in record sales in the UK in the sixties as people didn't want his mediocre film songs any more!

Only 10 ?!? Why not a 2cd-set............or better............an complete audio-dvd witout a break !

Correction. Bossa Nova Baby was NOT the start of the decline in record sales. One Broken Heart For Sale was. It was the first Elvis single to fail to crack the top 10. BNB actually came out later that year and made the top 10, the last single to do so for a few years.

Well dgirl..I don't know if you were around at that time in the sixties but I was and being an Elvis fan at the time felt along with many others obviously, that this was not what we wanted at all...consequently no more serious chart entries for a long time!

al shook up - yes I was around in the 60's and 50's. Actually from the beginning. While Bossa Nova Baby can never be considered a classic , it was a heck of a lot better than most of his 60's soundtrack songs. In fact, probably better than all of them in the 60's except for RT Sender & Viva. Like you and many others, I was waiting for a return to form but sadly it never happened until 1968.

I am guessing that there will be another set with 10 more tracks in a year or so. They have plenty more to do a vol. 2. Bossa Nova Baby, I think, is a classic. In the show it was fantastic.

We went to see Viva Elvis in Las Vegas in August and the show was fantastic, but the best song I thought was Burning Love and that isn't even on the Album. When they played the song it had a heavy rock tune to it and a lot of fantastic drumming, it gave be goosebumps. I hope it's eventually released.
Jesse Garon Presley wrote on September 26, 2010
well Graeme J it's going to be released it's officially out now the news that not 10 tracks will feature on this cd but 13!! tracks including..yes Burning Love and a duet with Elvis so Graeme J Burning Love is going be released on this cd

The album has 12 tracks in the UK and some countries (Belgium, France, Spain) have 13 (including a duet on 'Love Me Tender' by local artists)..

Now that we know the actual tracklist as of Sept 29th (The songs That's All Right, Burning Love are also included), the only songs they really missed by not including in the album are "It's Now or Never" (The entire tone is changed with amazing results) and "Return to Sender". Anyhow you can go to Amazon and listen to the samples of each track now..it's gonna be really big! Blue Suede Shoes is a knockout!!!
Mofoca22 wrote on October 01, 2010
they really should make it an even 20 tracks. i like return to sender. i havent heard its now or never but i would love to hear that. i really wish i knw how you'll never walk alone was gonna sound

You'll never walk alone and memories are instrumental tracks??!! Funny, with all the great songs recorded for the show, they decided to include these in the soundtrack...??!!
