There is one thing I don´t understand : Why didn´t Sony/BMG release these singles also in America or in other countries ? They surely made the top of the charts there. TCB.

Fantastic news about the extra supplies, I hope BMG keep up with the extra supplies for all the singles, I am sure record stores will not be stuck with a surplus, but I think the ebay bandits will be.

Just keep buying. I would love to hear the E-Bay bandits singing "I Got Stung". It is also important that sales get well above 20,400 this week. There is a lot of negativity about lowest selling #1's. If we could get over 25,000 this week it would be respectable.

Excellent news. The songs are sure to get air play and recruit more young people to Elvis's beautiful voice and music. The International Media is spreading the news of these singles generating publicity like we have never seen before for Elvis. How we danced to these songs in our youth. Yep, I'm that old:-)

"MauriceinIreland", you will be pleased to hear that many youths are STILL dancing to these songs! On the last saturday of every month, I am the DJ at the monthly "Capital Elvis" disco in Victoria , London, and we get over 100 fans turn out each time, some of them in their '20's. TONY DOBB

I hope this is true as up here in Southport (the North West of England), HMV, Woolworth's and MVC have sold out of "A Fool Such As I", by Monday morning. The reason being that the three shops combined total of singles delivered to them was 18!!!

This is such cool news for the British. I’m absolutely stunned by the fact that Elvis is probably going to score his third consecutive number 1. I wish this was also the case in the Netherlands. Jailhouse Rock entered the top 50 at number 41 this week. Maybe it’s due to the fact that the Netherlands are a smaller country and the singles are less bought than in the UK. On the other hand, I haven’t received one single yet, so maybe sales will increase when the singles are officially out. But all in all I’m very happy that Elvis still rules. Like in the song Johnny B. Good I would say: “Go go, go Elvis go!!!

As much as it's great that Elvis keeps hitting the No 1 slot, we have to be realistic that these are the lowest sales for a No 1 single ever in the UK, when the big guns start releasing their singles, such as U2 and Destiny's Child and also a charity single. I can't see Elvis getting to No 1 as much as I would like to 20 thousand copies will not be enough especially when fans can't even get a copy unless you ordered it a while ago. So I think we should enjoy our days in the sunshine while it lasts, with hopefully still a few number one spots to come

In Asia, most of the newspapers and even radio and TV are reporting these Elvis achievements especially the landmark 1,000th No.1 Hit song ONE NIGHT. It will be an unbeatable feat if Elvis does the hatrick this weekend with 3 Number Ones in a row. With ELVIS all things are possible. Long Live Zi True KING!!!

Great News to see Elvis on top of the charts again, however why do the newspapers continue to use photographs of Elvis which show him at the end of his life, bloated and unwell. Why don't they show Elvis in the late 60's and early 70's, it saddens me that people never get the true picture of how great Elvis looked and sounded.

The first big challenge is coming next week with Its Now or Never as the Tsunami charity record which may leave E at no,2.I also heard on Radio 1 today that the download chart is to merge with the singles chart sometime in March which maywell kill off the later part of the promotion Still dig it while you can

They do focus on a negative caricature of Elvis don't they? Eminem, for instance, in his video of Elvis, showed an overweight Elvis in the white jumpsuit. But this was never Elvis in his prime. It is unfair. It is like showing that police mug shot photo of James Brown when he got arrested by the police a few years ago. That is not a fair picture of James Brown. Elvis in his prime is the Jailhouse Rock sequence from 1957 or the black leather Gene Vincentesque Elvis of the Comeback Special in 1968 or any still from his movies. But they ignore these and focus on the negative caricatures. Elvis in the eagle white jumpsuit at the Aloha from Hawaii concert was at his peak in 1973. But this gets a negative caricature. The media always has to have a caricature. I think these people just want to feel important because they lack self-esteem. They attack Elvis and get a positive ego boost. This makes them feel better. This is because they are no talent, wannabes, and losers. They are too stupid to appreciate Elvis' talent and genius. No wonder they lack self-esteem: They are morons. The media and the elites never show Lenny Bruce naked and dead in his bathroom with a heroin syringe in his arm. They never show Jimi Hendrix choking to death on his own vomit because he ingested too many drugs. They never show Mama Cass choking to death on her sandwich. They never show prison pictures of James Brown when he was in federal prison. It is hypocrisy. But success is the best revenge and Elvis is getting his fair share. Albert Goldman probably died again because of envy. Who's laughing now, huh, Albert?

dont worry bout the limited sales as remember sony released these singles as collectors items at about elvis birthday and the sales are low in brit . he will get a few more singles to the top but the timeglass is getting smaller . and above all forget about the sales etc enjoy enjoy the elv/sic .come on englanders keep buying .

I don't understand the criticism about the limited sales. These are limited editions of only 30,000 copies each, and they've almost sold out completely in the first week. I think if they had pressed and released 100,000 copies of each, they'd be easier to find and the sales would be much higher. Be that as it may, enjoy the chart toppers.
