A lot of money but if this is as good as the 'Elvis Files' series then will be well worth the investment, and to be hoest with you compared to JAT's prices surely this has a compulsive purchase. Trouble is with these mammouth books it takes so long to get through them all.........still getting through some of the Elvis Files books......but what a joy it is to read something that has been well researched and put together so beautifully..........have pre-ordered this already and will make a great addition to my collection.

I love the Elvis Files books so far,but my questions is, wouldnt some (or most) of these Hawaii photos be in those books as well?

dgirl, that's one of the question's i emailed my dealer and as yet still waiting for a reply?...but with the 'Files' series being so comprehensive i have to think that Erik has so much material old and new that he has enough to cover both 'Files' and 'Hawaii'..........time will tell.

This book will include the complete series of pics from Hawaii 1977 vacation?

This certainly does raise questions – I also wonder if these shots ought really to have been used in the relevant time periods of the "Files" books. Are they going to be omitted from the Files books, or are they going to be duplicated in some, or all, cases? Also which of the 3 pictures above is the correct cover?

I have volume 2 of the Elvis Files and the quality is really great. Many mistakes though, especially in the Elvis in Munich section...

What has the middle main picture got to do with Hawaii?

The middle main picture was taken at the publicity photo session for Paradise Hawaiian Style.

I'll stick with the Elvis Files also for some random Elvis/Hawaii shots. I'm not big into the whole Elvis & Hawaii connection anyway. If if want to see it, I will pop in one of the movies (prob not) or the Aloha special.
