It's the last time I've bought the product of JOE TUNZI name on it. DVD has 60mn and the price is $34.00. I don't mind of "COLONEL BIRTHDAY" segments and the 72s has only 4mn.

Who's complaining? whats wrong with oppions? if something is too expensive then its too expensivie,im sure the producers are making some money,or they wouldnt have gone past volume 1,i have other titles with same type thing,on stage footage and in alot of cases the dvd's are short and could have the footage on one dvd but they instead spread it out over several,i have to pick and choose like alot of other fans and i have to look out for myself ,no one else is gonna do that! and the reason i mentioned them not printing many is sometimes thats used as a selling feature, the mystery to me is why people wont to go in detail to why this or that is released the way it is, when the bottom line, the product is too high for what you get! its oppions, have fun with it!

I'm not expecting anyone to feel sorry for the producers. I'm simply explaining why releases like these can't be "unlimited." There's a very small number of people who order these, so the cut-off point is low. Clearly you're in that large majority of folks who aren't interested. In fact, I won't be ordering it myself -- not my subspecialty. But your and my indifference shows why Tunzi's doing only 2,000 copies. In fact, these discs are expensive to produce -- the very reason Ernst has cited for not getting FTD into this business. That's why there are so few producers generating releases with new material. Expensive acquisitions plus limited sales equals costly, small-run productions. Why people who aren't buying the disc are complaining there aren't enough copies available is sure tough to understand, but I guess it's just one of the many mysteries of the "give your opinion" section of this board.

And if fans bought many items such as this one, they would go broke, dvd's such as this one sell for $40,ive bought some of them, and didnt find them worth the price,i dont feel sorry for the producers of these type releases, for those who like them and are excited, then have a ball, take all your footage and put it on one disc, just too much else outthere to choose from, you have to give the buyer good value for his or her money!

Bear in mind that the people who produce these don't press them in their basements. There's a good chance a run of 2,000 gets him a better price at the production facility, so that's what he shoots for. He might get another break at 5,000, but if he can sell only 2,200, then he's left with 2,800 unsold copies. All the people who produce these privately produced CDs and DVDs make their best guess on how many they can sell. They certainly can't rev up the machinery to press those odd few copies for the tiny number of fans who were slow to act. That's not cost-effective and is a quick path to bankruptcy. As the reactions here show, the market for such discs is pretty small and a small businessman doesn't have the luxury of warehousing thousands of discs in hopes that they might sell five years from now.

Any release that is limited,is limited only because the creators of the release want it to be, i dont care for that kind of nosence, and i stay away from products like that, the prices for these such dvd's are a joke to in the first place, not to mention that the products offer you less everytime!

I liked JAT a lot more years ago , when every book was a classic and there were plenty printed. I nevr had a problem getting anything then. Seems lately more & more aggrevation in trying to get the product (not to mention the higher cost for a less quality product)

Whats stopping him from making more DVDs? You sell out in a week, make another 2000! How hard is that? Then everyone can get a copy.

He could have sold 5000 copies but he produced only 2000. So it will be sold out in a week. So HURRY HURRY HURRY. lol. What a gag.
