Although earlier this year an announcement was made regarding new Gold and Platinum Awards no upgrades were presented during ElvisWeek 2008. A search in the RIAA database resulted in a Gold and Platinum certification for one Elvis title "Elvis Lives" (listed as "various artists"). This DVD was awarded Gold and Platinum on August 7th, 2008.

some things are not official yet of how much they sold. so that's the case, but i won't believe they don't buy his records anymore that's total bull
