FTD Releases Out

January 04, 2006 | Music
The latest Follow That Dream releases "Loving You" and "Southern Nights" are out. The "Loving You" 2 CD set contains a great 16 pages booklet.

"Souterhn Nights" is a live soundboard compilation from the Spring Tours of 1975 and a companion set to "Dixieland Rocks". It shows just how vast Elvis’s repertoire was at that time, with 19 songs not featured on "Dixieland Rocks".

The 2CD version of "Loving You" is digitally restored by Kevan Budd, with unreleased movie versions of the songs and on disc 2 all takes of Elvis recording the title song "Loving You" on February 14, 1957 and 15 takes of the main version in binaural as an extra bonus.

I have long been bored with the concert recordings so stopped buying them. These two proposed releases jump out at me though. Can't wait! Many thanks to all involved and keep up the good work!

Got this release today anf I like it. First of all because of the fact that this is a compilation CD...no more hound dog, teddybear, don't be cruel and other "throw away" songs. No, a real good tracklist with songs I like. The sound is what you can expect of a soundboard. Elvis is in good voice also. This is a winner !!! More Live compilations in the future....
