I have no need of this release whatsoever.

I would've thought the artwork is copyrighted. Plus, Hallmark's Duane Eddy reissues have very poor sound, so beware before buying.

The music may be in the public domain, but the artwork?

Like the cover, not as good as US, 50 million fans cant be Wrong, which though similar is more clearly defined. I got the reissue by BMG a while back and did not like the inclusion of Christmas songs so as far as i'm concerned this is a superior release. Lucky me, recently got this original Mono British vinyl release which is an all time classic. Everybody from Rod Stewart to Bon Jovi have copied this classic albums cover.

Yes, it's a great album & great cover, & up to now Hallmark have made some very strange cover choices! This one seems to be priced higher than previous Hallmark issues at Amazon, HMV, Play etc. Where has Dr john found it for £2.99?

Nice to see that Hallmark have used the same cover as the original release, all previous releases from this label has had alternate cover art and i have to assume Hallmark will release more of the early Elvis albums as they become PD. Still at £2.99 not a over priced release and one for the collector rather than general public as this is only available via there web-site or various www.
