This tracklisting does not seem to different from the Collectors Gold CD where the 3rd cd is LIVE IN VEGAS.

The reason the track listing is not very different from the third "Collectors Gold" disc is that Elvis did pretty much the same songs in the same order twice a night for a month. The "Collectors Gold" disc was a compilation of songs from various shows, and did contain "Memories", "Inherit The Wind" and "Reconsider Baby" which were not performed at this particular show. Releasing more than one show from a particular sdeason will obviously involve duplication of songs.

oh!-thanks tony kilburn for your feedback mate!!..yeah,your right, just had a quick look and the tracks on 'live in las vegas' on collectors gold from 1991 are not in order..their mixed together from different dates but they were very clever and mislead the cd buying public into thinking that it was an unreleased vegas show, which to me is not right and dishonest, but fairs fair..most of the track listing was "unreleased"..especially reconsider baby and inherit the wind..surperb elvis magic man..it was so good way back in 1991 when the laughing version of 'are you lonesome tonight' was released on cd for the first time..i got the silly impression at the time that it was a complete concert as it was so cleverly put together..you would'n't think the songs were from different dates and times..or maybe i'm to thick?..ha,ha./one more question:why then is f.t.d. claiming all shook up cd contains the original source of the laughing version of ru lonesome 2night..when it was released in 1991??.i am so confused it makes feel angry.

I don't know if I'll buy this: A. The track listing is too similar to Elvis At The International. B. I'm sure they'll have all that damn talking between songs like Elvis At The International. C. It contains the laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight?. I know a lot of fans enjoy this, but I hate it. What a way to ruin a classic and one of my all time favorites. D. I've already got most of these songs(or similar versions) elsewhere. Elvis' vocals: 5 stars, Band/orchestra/backing vocals: 5 stars, Stage banter: 2 stars, Overall: 3 stars. These are the same ratings I gave Elvis At the International. On second thought: i'm going to skip this.
