gribz, Rock A Hula Baby was on 30 # 1 Hits??? Maybe yoy have a special edition, cause that song was not on the 30 #1 Hits. BMG is dumb, but not that dumb...LOL.

JeffF and Tim, those songs you mention should be on, but remember that BMG has a 5 year plan of compilations to a wide audience, last year, this year, and in 2004, 2005, 2006. So I'm sure those classics you have mentionned will end up on the 3 follow up Hits cd's.

It's a fine selection but it misses the last #1 Presley had until ALLC : Guitar Man (from the Guitar Man Album) was #1 in the Country Chats in 1980. That's too bad it was not included, as well as "If you talk in Your sleep" that was a Top 20 (#14 i gess) in 1974. Any way a true milestone Album in Elvis catalog and in 2003. LET'S MAKE IT BIG.

How could you want out of the collection songs like "That's all right", "Memories" and "Always on my mind"? The first and the last are absolute classics of the Presley songbook, and the second is one of his sweetest (an adult) songs. "Memories" is underrated, so you just have to listen to one more time and I'm sure you will change your mind. Each fan has his own favourites, of course I do, but I think that BMG has done a very very good work with this selection. Then I agree with Dismas and Claudia: there are more classics to come in future releases. And, Patrick68, what Gribz means is not that "Rock-a-hula..." was in the last year's #1 album, is that it was a top 30 in the days it was released. Anyway, all of us we'll buy the CD (hope with the Canadian and UK cover), so there's one thing we gotta do: enjoy it till our CD players break.

It seems like everyone else is as disappointed with this new tracklisting as I am. And while I understand that everyone has their own personal favorites they want to see included, I guess we'll all just have to wait another year for the third installment. I do believe, however, that some of the traditionally ignored top 20 singles (from America's Billboard and Cash Box charts) should be spotlighted next time around. I'm speaking of '60s titles like "One Broken Heart For Sale," "Such a Night," "Ask Me," "Ain't That Loving You, Baby," "(Such an) Easy Question," "I'm Yours," "Puppet on a String" and "Love Letters." Then there are the forgotten '70s singles like the double-A-side "I've Lost You"/"The Next Step is Love," "Patch It Up" (the charted b-side to "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me"), and the top 20 pop hits (there are many more top 10 country and adult contemporary hits) "I Really Don't Want to Know," "Separate Ways," "Steamroller Blues," "My Boy" and "If You Talk in Your Sleep." So, I guess there's plenty more to come in this series. Hopefully, some of our (mine/yours) suggestions will make the next cut!

There are so many songs they can put on 2nd to none. I don't agree with this tracklisting either but hey..only more reason to give out a 3rd and 4th album right? With some more nice unreleased stuff and a new remix.

"I Beg of You" really should be on here! How can that song not be on this?? Also, wouldn't "Mystery Train" have been a much better and more obvious choice than "I Forgot to Remember"? RCA/BMG sure does make some weird choices. However what I am really waiting to find out is if there are any surprises. Remember with the last collection the version of "Fool Such as I" and "Wonder of You" were not the regular versions. I wonder if there'll be any of those hidden on this release.

I would add 'T.r.o.u.b.l.e' to the list, and 'My Boy.'Rock a hula' can come out, and so should American Trilogy. Rock a hula was on Elvis 30's, and 'American Trilogy' should go on some future concert re-mix.

should include I just can`t help believin` and Girl of my best friend Take out That`s all right and memories this would give it a better balance. Also give it a silver cover with th same logo as before with a subtitle, otherwise they`ll just pick a good picture and demolish it with a badly designed cover
