BMG bigwigs may be denying the existence of a final track listing, but I have to believe they're just attempting to stir up more interest in "2nd To None" by trying to create/maintain a bit of mystery. The collection has already been pre-sold to thousands of American fans via the QVC/Home Shopping Network. When the network's annual Elvis Summer Special aired in mid-August, they ran a crawl listing all the tracks included on the new disc/cassette while showing off the new "product" on screen -- as music from the compilation played underneath the announcer/host's sales pitch. If that was not the real track list, BMG set themselves up for a lot of possible headaches from irate fans who did indeed pre-order the new release. Incidently, this pre-order approach gives the disc a big boost in initial week sales, which will help propel it up the Billboard charts in its debut week.

I think this is going to be a great album! Very different than the usual "best of" cd's.

I agree with patrick68 about "I'm a Roustabout", and I also believe patrick68 and dismas that the tracklisting must already be set. I also watched the QVC show and saw the same thing. In any case it is going to be fantastic. TCB!

I believe that the hold up is the completion of the second Euro-dance remix that was announced some time back.

Matt W, sorry to disappoint you, but "I'm A Roustabout" will be on this cd. BMG would look pretty stupid if they left it off after all the hoopla they caused August 15th when they officially announced it. And believe me the track listing is finalized. BMG is full of crap when they say the track listing is not finalised....

I hope I'm A Roustabout is left for a Follow That Dream release, its completely out of place on a set like this. Also, i think Patch It Up should be included, its probabaly the hardest rock song Elvis did in the 70s and is definitly suitable for the younger target market.

To ElvisNews.com staff: why don't you use the right cover for this release? The new half face logo is much smaller in the original cover. Thanks! (Please, don't take this as an offense)
