Snowplow , I DO LIKE your kind of humour and had a good laugh ! Singing "We're comin' in loaded" after a good night out ! Great ! Won't be buying this CD though . Always El.

I fully agree Snowplow. I am hooked by the voice which to my mind lifted many average songs to a much higher enjoyment level. Referring to the film tracks, GGG and Acapulco, ballads We'll Be Together, Because of Love, and the magnificent Marguerita figure high on my play lists. The latter being one of my big favourites for films in the 60's.

Unlike some people on this forum I do like the Elvis movies. It is light and funny stuff. SOmething like the Road to ... series. There is enough seriousness in life to make these movies just nice. And of course there's Elvis' voice. In most of these sings it is just beautiful. Uplifting.

Natha, I like 'em too ! It's part of my younger years. Call it nostalgia or whatever but they bring back so much fond memories ! As you wrote, the different Road to...series with Bing and Bob are still great stuff to me too. On Nov 22 I wrote I wouldn't buy this CD, but.... now starting to hesitate. How long can a fan resist temptation , oh...that damned weakness ! (LOL) Always El.

Benny, it also invokes memories for me as a young lad. We could have been sitting next to each other in the theatre, if you would have lived in my country, Anyway, Could anyone explain to me: Going ?
benny scott wrote on November 26, 2014
Natha, I checked several other Elvis sites and on all this sites track 27 of disc 1 is titled 'GONG' instead of 'GOING' . Still a mystery to me though ! Always El.
