Fifty years ago, the LP "Elvis Presley" was rush-released onto the market because RCA feared Elvis' popularity would last only a matter of months, which is why the Sun tape boxes were plundered to fill out the track listing. Who could have imagined that fifty years on, a deluxe CD version would be eagerly awaited by Elvis' fans worldwide, some not even born during his lifetime.

The show in soundboard quality is a must have. These 1974 Vegas shows were really good ..only the setlists were all very alike....but who cares..?? The upgraded Elvis Presley album is also highly recommendable. The unreleased outtakes alone make this album worthwhile..especially the outtakes which haven´t been availible before in any form . The Clambake album...?? It`s o.k...looking forward to the unreleased takes.. Although I am not that fan of these movie albums..to be sincere..

Looking forward to the first album. Considering all 3 releases will cost approx $100, I will skip the other 2. The live shows are all starting to sound the same to me. Dont need another version of Elvis doing Olivia to be honest. Clambake? Clambake? Elvis would not be proud of this.

The thing I like in the movie soundtrack CD's is the banter that goes on. Beach Shack still gets me in stiches.
