I'm listening to Glenn Campbell's version right now and it do sounds like an Elvis song.

Just a couple of verses sung live in 1975 when his voice was in fantastic working order. Another what could have been, which I reckon would have been real good if he had attempted it in the studio,

Elvis should have recorded a full version of this classic gem in the studio. Sadly, that didn't ever occur. This song should be deleted from the Elvis song list because Elvis only sang a small portion of it and never a legitimate version. The Vogues have the best version of this gem by far.

It's an ok song, elvis version (if you can call it that, i doubt it) isn't worth mentioning.

~ The song is featured in a new television commercial for Volkswagen in the U.S.A. -- Elvis performed part of this song on the evening of July 23, 1975 in Asheville, North Carolina. Elvis hit a couple of high notes and the crowd loved it!
