Quality control? Ya gotta be kidding! Who at Sony BMG would know the difference between the original version and a live one?

The 1970 version on Platinum was a rehearsal version, not a live one, Harvey, but your point is still valid. This is clearly commercialisation only, there is no knowledge or expertise involved. Ironically, even though the 1964 version clearly belongs on this single, I personally like the 1970 rehearsal verson better!
