I'm too busy listening to the FTD Viva Las Vegas sessions release to bother with this bootleg junk.

so, where do you think that this bootleg label got their stuff from? If you ask me it's from FTD CD's and/or other bootleg releases. I'll skip this one. I'd rather play my own FTD discs.

Nothing new here, but at least the title sucks too, so everything fits together perfectly. In general, the bootlegers are obviously more and more desperate, because they don't have something relevant to sell anymore. They try to hide this fact with overblown boxes and gimmicks, but the truth is, they don't have anything to offer anymore. We should forget about them at this point.

I hope they release more box sets covering Vegas 1969, Aloha From Hawaii 1973 and Tennessee 1974. I don't understand why it takes ages for BMG/Sony or FTD to release the complete box sets for the fans. After so many years we only have "That's The Way It Is" and "Prince From Another Planet". I'm happy that bootleggers are around releasing cool stuff before I die waiting: "The Final Curtain", "The King Strikes Back" and "On Tour Deluxe" are great examples. MRS is also doing a great job with the 50's, I hope they go on with the 60's and 70's studio stuff.

So you want to buy all the stuff you already have again, only to have it in together in one box? Ok. I prefer to spent my money for music I don't already own. But hey, people are different, and I'm fine with that, just wondering.

Except for "FTD Polk Salad Annie", I still don't have the other concerts in it. For people wanting to complete this Vegas Season, such as myself, this box is an intelligent alternative. If I were to buy all the previous FTD releases it would end up being much more expensive for me, especially because some of the titles are already sold out. But I understand that this box isn't for people who already have those concerts. Yet, it's an awesome release in my opinion. It's nice to have quality alternatives so we can choose what suits us better. I think Sony/FTD should understand that real fans deserve "complete box sets" (concerts seasons, studio sessions) that don't go out of print. It's much better for collecting. The general public are well served with those compilations they release every year.

It´s the same with every release like this one: the one who got all this stuff say it´s something I already got nothing new and those who hasn´t all that stuff they say it´s super. Every time.

You can only hope, that they haven't "improved" the sound, which usual means that the bootlegers ruined it with cheap audio software, used in an amateurish way.

I note people are saying all these concerts have been issued officially or otherwise elsewhere but I can't find any record of previous release for 16th & 17th concerts and 19th Dinner show. Can anybody confirm when they were previously released? As people are saying, I don't want to purchase something I already have but perhaps misdated as sometime releases are. Many thanks

mao10, most of the recordings has been released officially. By FTD: The On Stage Season, Polk Salad Annie, Writing for the King, Off-On Stage and Today Tomorrow and Forever. Some are to find here: Rebooked at the International. And some are still unreleased and I think that you will not find them in this Box Set. But now you have everything that is still released in one Box Set. Like it or not. But I do.

I agree with Gladylove's point of view. For me, I already have enough of this period. But for those who do not have it is an excellent opportunity to acquire this material

There is no trackliste here, so you can be sure that they don't have something new or more complete. On the reeboked box (or the on stage ultimate edition) you can still find three or four songs, that are not released officially now, but nothing special. If they would have unreleased stuff, they would let us know.

atomicpoweredposte is maybe sadly right. Nothing new here in my eyes too. If, they would let us know for sure. But nevertheless a 7 CD Box with all available stuff from every source.
