What? Better than some of the 'Essential Elvis' albums or some of the best FTD releases? You gotta be having a laugh. They contain real Elvis recordings. 'Viva Elvis' is a computerised fake. Is that what you really want?
I just thought the whole album was so novel to what had come before. At least someone is trying to do something different and thus preventing Sony from releasing 'Greatest Hit' after 'Greatest Hit' compilation. The FTD releases are really only for the fans and the Legacy releases will not sell in any great quantities. There is a real dilemma for Sony to decide where to go in the future if they wish to retain Elvis on their label. Perhaps quality packages e.g. 'The Complete Masters' are the way to go but they will not sell other than to fans due to the high price. Sony are keen to sell to the masses. They would like another ALLC and worldwide event e.g. World Cup to kickstart things again.
