I hate these type polls. At this point: they have #1 Michael Jackson, #2 Feddie Mercury, #3 Axl Rose, #4 John Lennon and Elvis at #5. Good grief !!! How silly is that ?

MJ #1 wow, just give me some helium and I'll sing better than him.

Voted. Always El.

I voted too, just a little note , don't take these polls all to serious, they are not even official.Always El.

Clearly not a poll to be taken seriously. You can vote as many times as you want to distort the outcome.

Elvis is slowly catching up in this poll. Whilst one can vote as many times as one likes this is the same for all artists and at the end of the day is a test as to the loyalty (or fanatacism) of each artists fan base. Would be nice to see Elvis win this poll.

Both Brians are right ! Always El.

I read somewhere on these "vote as many times as possible" polls that Michael Jackson fan clubs were informing their members how to program a continual "auto-voting" around the clock, which would explain why a few comments under the results, dated may 28th & 29th, state things like, "a poll without Michael Jackson in the top 20"...etc., then within a week he's a far away 1st place?!! PLEEEAAASE, GIVE ME A BREAK! Sounds like dishonesty is afoot again. So, we've got to really kick it in gear to teach those cheaters a lesson about Elvis fan loyalty. Im gonna vote ALOT! Hope you join me!

1 BILLION SOLD i allready suspected this, that there was cheating amongs MJ fans regarding voting on certain poll and on this one, so you are indeed correct,i noticed the same things you did.MJ is nowhere in sight a better vocalist then Elvis, not even as good as Mercury ( he was an Elvis btw) so i'm with you 1 BILLION SOLD.

I cant believe people care about things like this to such an extent.
Jesse Garon Presley wrote on June 12, 2011
And you reply was to be expected as well, because if you read further then my last reaction, you would have known that i really don't care for these kind of polls, i only said to 1 BILLION SOLD i was with him because of the fact that i agree that MJ fans are cheating on these kind of polls( if it makes them happy,go ahead i don't care),that was the only thing i meant,i only voted once, not going to do it anymore, this was my first reaction and i'm sticking with it : "I voted too, just a little note , don't take these polls all to serious, they are not even official" happy now?

Elvis is currently in third position behind Jackson and Mercury. We need around 17,500 votes to catch up to Jackson. However, the good news is that YOU CAN VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE and in the past few days votes for Elvis have been coming in 10 times faster than those for Jackson or Mercury.

Without a doubt they have the right ones in the top 5 already. However like to see Elvis top the List. He so deserves that honor.
Jesse Garon Presley wrote on June 14, 2011
Yes he deserves that honor, but don't be surprised if Elvis will not reach the #1 spot, because the MJ fans are still voting as well, but also keep in mind that not everyone is aware of this poll in the world and so therefore this poll cannot be seen as important or official,in any case Elvis has reached the 3th place coming from the 5th place.

Voted for another 3 hours today.
samcra wrote on June 14, 2011
Well at least he is ahead of Axl Rose, whom I wouldn't say has a good voice. Good screamer ? Yes, but not a good singing voice.

I could never understand why polls like this allow more than 1 vote per email addy...just seems like its defeating the purpose of the poll itself, ESPECIALLY when the Jackson websites encourage "cheater" programs and actually inform their members how to do it. Like I said earlier, I read that Jackson was removed from a couple other similar polls when this was discovered...wish NME magazine would check into that. So, I guess its back to the site to try and "counter" the cheaters! lol. Hope you all join me!

Voted for three hours solid yesterday and Elvis' total did not move. It remains the same today. However, Jackson's total continues to improve. I smell a rat and will not be voting any more in this poll.
Jesse Garon Presley wrote on June 15, 2011
What did i tell you Brian? it's no use..let it go,it's just a poll nothing more ..nothing less, and not even an official poll either or one that matters, when the outcome is there,it will get unnoticed, we all know who the greatest vocal of all time is,no poll needed to prove any diffrent.
Brian Quinn wrote on June 17, 2011
This poll ends on 20th June.
Jesse Garon Presley wrote on June 17, 2011
Thank God...stupid poll anyway, not even a fair poll..hardly official.MJ a better singer then Elvis?..yeah right this poll stinks to high heaven.
Steve V wrote on June 27, 2011
Elvis is not first so its a stupid poll and stinks to high heaven? Cmon man, chill out. All polls are debatable and somewhat stupid arent they? Why do you people care so much about this stuff? You know how long ago 1977 was? I'm amazed Elvis came in third!
dgirl wrote on June 27, 2011
Actually Seve V, you are being kind. Elvis' career was already dead by 1977, so you have to go back to 1972 and Burning Love when he had his last real impact on the airwaves. So yes, coming in third is quite impressive. Most folks mostly relate Elvis to the 50's. Most of his impact was then. This is a poll no one will ever even hear about in the USA anyway. NME is not well known here. Getting upset about this is ridiculous. MJ was not even the best Motown singer!
