And don't we all prefer 'top recording stars of 2007' performing Elvis's songs to Elvis performing them?

I can really appreciate this. A great homage to the King. Elvis and Vegas are connected to each other, if you like it or not. And it proves again that many artists of today are inspired by Elvis. Hope they built something in like the If I Can Dream duet.

Sure we cant change how he went about his business, but i just hope people know he did play other places other than vegas, because it seems with non fans, the 70's are the vegas years when it comes to Elvis!

Sounds like a good idea, although the fact that EPE are involved means it will probably be as intellectually challenging as standing up. mature_elvis_fan75: I'm with you on that one, the sad truth is that EPE are quite happy to exploit and capitalise on the stereotypical attitudes images and other misconceptions the media and the public have towards Elvis, regardless of how degrading and innacurate they may be.

What i find amazing about Elvis in Vegas is his performing at the Hilton way off the Strip and still packing them in. Every time i go there (vegas) i understand that his draw was so powerful that people actually had to go out of there way to get to the Hilton. You may also want to consider that the Stone age compared to Vegas today.
