Veterans Memorial Coliseum Imploded

On Saturday January 20, 2007 the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New Haven will be imploded. The coliseum was used for 30 years, from 1972 until 2002. Elvis performed three times in the venue: July 16 and 17, 1975 and on July 30, 1976.

Cant wait till they Trash the Nassau Veterans coliseum in Long Island New York, the place is a disgrace. Ahh but the most famous may also be going "Elvis as recorded at Madison Square Garden, New York City, now that was a show to see to bad ya all missed it. I was there, ya might even hear my wife screaming

The Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, in New York is another venue, that may be replaced with something "new". Elvis did concerts at the Coliseum, in 1973 and in 1975 and was scheduled to play there in 1977. I guess time marches on... and everything changes.

That is sad...........the Mid-South Coliseum here in Memphis is on the same list. Only a miracle will save it.
