VCD Adios

So far, everything released by Memphis Sound from CHILE have been of great quality. So I am looking forward to this VCD.

Excellent cover art! And from one of my favorite period of Elvis' career. Thank you to the producers of Memphis Sound Records (Chile) for offering this release. Attention to our friends over at BMG/RCA (USA): take note of this excellent example when you begin preliminary planning for the re-mastered digital version of "The CBS Special" et al. (I agree my suggestion is not very subtle or humble). Use every opportunity folks. Thank you.

Does anybody knows what quality this Dvd got ? Is it better then on The Final Days ? Is only the 26 th of June 1977 included or is there some special feature as a bonus ? TCB.

Can someone tell me what the fan in the audience yelled to Elvis, during his piano playing of"UNCHAINED MELODY" It made Elvis stop and stare out at the person. It must've given him a great thrill cause he turned to Charlie Hodges,and gave him such a smile. I've always been curious about what the fan said that brought such happiness to the King, for that brief moment. It was the LAST SHOW ever.

Zeke - interesting question, I know exactly what you are referring too. I have no idea what the answer is, I always thought Elvis was perhaps looking over to Ginger or his Dad or maybe one of the hangers on. Who knows !

The photo on the cover looks great, but as someone who was there I gotta set the record straight. Elvis sang UNCHAINED MELODY the last time on June 25 in Cincinnati. He did not do the song in INDYon June 26th. The photo might be fom either when he knelt down on stage in Cincy or played the piano in Rapid City.. Either way, it's a great shot - but don't expect the 8mm home movies used for the VCD to be of that quality. The photo is a bit misleading.
