This epic release was videotaped and recorded in June 1977. The show was recorded over two days at concerts in Omaha, NE on June 19 and Rapid City, SD on June 21. The CBS television special of the event was broadcast on the same day the album was released on October 3, 1977. The last time Elvis ever played in concert was Sunday June 26, 1977 in Indianapolis.
