The Best Of Elvis Radio -- Ernst Jorgensen and the FTD Story
Tues 2/23 8:00 pm ET
Tune in for a replay of this exciting, impromptu “drive-by drop-in Guest DJ Show." It happened on January 10, 2006, just after Elvis’ birthday celebration at Graceland. On a dark and cold Tuesday night, as TY was rocking out in the SIRIUS XM Elvis Radio studio, he was abruptly stunned and surprised with a loud knock on the studio door across the street from the famous R&R gates of Graceland. Looking up he saw the one and only Ernst Jorgensen and his studio engineer collaborator Kevin Budd. The result was a rollicking, free wheelin’ Presley musicology conversation as TY had Ernst take over and share the history of the Follow That Dream collector’s record label and play some of his all-time favorite and historical Elvis songs. (2 hrs)
