UK sales this morning for "A Little Less Conversation" were 121,500, but they have now peaked at 176,250 giving a guaranteed number one by the weekend. Nearest contender is Kylie at 47,000. The dance routine, being recorded tomorrow will be screened by Top of the Pops NEXT WEEK on Friday 28th June.
BMG UK are making a music video, as the one that the Americans insisted on making is understood to be awful. It is the UK one which will be used to tie in with the American launch of the single, and will continue to be played on European music stations. Sales in the UK are expected to top 350,000.
