McFly are not a "boy band" like Westlife - they can actually play instruments, and they remind me of the Hollies. I went to see them in a street concert in Wigan just before Christmas - about 20,000 fans turned out to see them in awful weather. This single could possibly sell 100,000 copies this week - if there is enough stock in the shops. Whatever you might think of the competition it is Elvis and Elvis alone which has brought back life into the UK singles market. And as I said before don't give up on a possible future number one out of this box. Now is the time to start blitzing radio stations with requests for "Devil in Disguise". With advanced airplay we could just do it with this one, but without it, it'll be another number 3.

Todd you're absolutley right. It's Elvis who brought life back to the UK Single market. I hope GLC will be another Nr.3 hit.. but i fear it will go down to 4 or 5! :-(

Todd, McFly are a pretty good little group. They are bringing kids back to music and away from the game consoles which is the way todays youth has gone. DEVIL IN DISGUISE has to be number one. It deserves it in that its just a very different kind of song, very right for todays market i would think and i still want ROUSTABOUT on FTD 7", double!.

No matter what chart position elvis reaches is now a bonus and i am sure he will rack up another couple of #1s before the collection is complete, it will be nice if ALLC reaches the top spot as we will get the video played on TOTP.

Unfortunately ALLC will not feature in the charts. This is because the Download Chart kicks in on April 17th. As a result I fear tha t we will not see Elvis in the chart again. UNLESS Sony BMG re-mix Elvis's lesser known records. Cue ALLC.

downloads will contribute about 25% of the weekly chart, so ALLC and the others released after the introduction of the download chart will all still enter the uk top ten if sales are 25,000 plus. Were any of the other releases in the top 75 this week?

im sure tho' that there will be no more number ones in this campaign, BUT 3 number ones in jan 05 is oustanding, Elvis' best "chart" month ever by the way.
