Eagleone - there is absolutely nothing wrong with Elvis' performance in Flaming Star. Even director Don Siegel admired Elvis' acting skills. And at one point, even the great Robert Mitchum wanted Elvis to appear along side him in a film. King Creole and Flaming Star showed what a good serious actor he could have been given the right script and opportunity. And as for criticising LMT, give the guy abreak - it was his first film.

you'll have to excuse eagleone for I've noticed that he seems to be always not knowing what he's talking about.

What's the point of re-issuing these again, unless there are extras included this time, along with the colourized version of "Love me tender".

I agree, re-packaging these discs does seem pointless. Copies of the original box set of three films are still to be had at knockdown prices at most large retail outlets.
