Two New Czech CD Releases

January 31, 2002 | Music
To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Elvis' death, Memory Records from Prague is once again delivering the goods by releasing two remarkable CD's. The label has been very fortunate in obtaining a rather unique tape of private recordings, and is now releasing it as The Long Lost Home Recordings (MR 2021-2).

The second release is titled International Earthquake (MR 2022-2), and it contains a dynamic audience recording of Elvis on stage at the International Hotel during the dinner-show on February 5th, 1970. The Elvis of 1970 was a charismatic, energetic and exciting stage performer, and this recording captures those qualities quite well.

Both releases are up to the usual standard as previously seen on Czech CD's. The packaging contains rare Elvis photos, and detailed sleeve notes, while the remastering was done with great care.
