The Wild One '56

Following up from the excellent Rebel Wih A Cause earlier this year, The Wild One '56 by David English and Pål Granlund consists of 228 pages and features great photographs, including 60 recently discovered shots taken from the original negatives.
A bonus CD is included that features The 2nd Ed Sullivan Show and The evening Tupelo Fair performance.

i'm getting this - as I get older I love Elvis 50s more. Maybe because unless you were there you knew so little about the era. Now theres so much to listen, watch and read.

Yeah cheap bashing. Right, what was i thinking. No criticism anymore from my side. Please, ernst, put 2 or 3 CDs without anything new in every book, so i can spend 20 or 30 bucks for the same book. Would be great, thanks for your well thougt trough argumentation. I was blind, but now i can see.

I love this kind of books especially from the 50s. And the CD ? Okay, there is nothing new on it , but that´s okay for me.

What annoys me is the inclusion of totally worth- and meaningless CDs, they are only there for making the products more expensive without offering anything of interest. Super cheap to produce, justifying a higher price .. that tactic pisses me off.. Otherwise, i don't know. They have already released so many books about elvis in 56. The last one (rebel ..) wasn't terrible, but the weakest so far. I think i wait until i read a few reviews until i decide if i want to spend my money for this one. Still, the only ftd announced that I'm interested in.

Books, books, books. If Ernst ever gets around to writing another I might be interested. Otherwise, no.
