The Who's Elvis Tribute Released As Single

April 03, 2004 | Music
The next single by The Who will be their Elvis tribute song "A Real Good Looking Boy". The intro is taken from "Can't Help Falling In Love" and pays homage to Elvis' early good looks.

Tributes seem to become popular, another Elvis (and John Lennon) tribute is featured on George Michael new album "Patience", the title of the song is "John and Elvis are Dead".

This is all good news. Now let's hope it helps to kick start the 50th anniv for Elvis. I know George Michael just released a tribute song for Elvis, that's great. Hope they release it, in the U.S.A...

Hi Jill. I heard the the tribute song is awesome. When will the cd be in American music stores. I hope it gets heavy rotation here on radio stations.. So many opportunities for a great kick start to the 50th anniv of r&r. I hope BMG and EPE are gearing up....From what I can see they are not taking advantage of the Elvis Gospel CD.

Thank's Moody Blue.. They will start playing his single, 'Elvis and John' by the middle of May, I'm guessing, so that is cool. Alot of things to help converge on the 50th..

If your certain it will be released in the 'states' at the end of May. I'll wait. Perfect timing here, because it will tie into all the promotion done by BMG and EPE for the 50th.
