The Man And His Music

February 28, 2004 | Other
The new issue of the best Elvis magazine around, The Man And His Music, arrived at our headquarters yesterday. This one brings us an unpublished open-minded interview with J.D. Sumner, a Q&A with Ernst Jorgensen – in which he confirms the news we saw lately on the Internet regarding the FTD-label. Furthermore TMAHM “revisited” I Want You, I Need You, I Love You and you can find the usual items like news, compact disc round up, DVD round up and more.

This magazine is still the best Elvis magazine. It's amazing they can keep up such great quality issue after issue, for all these years. There's alot of competition these days from fantastic web sites like this one, and magazines like Essential Elvis, but ETMAHM is still tops. I remember back in the late 80's when it started, and was the only serious magazine on Elvis published. I look forward to many years of great reading from Trevor, Gordon, and the staff.

Another winner from `The Man and his Music`. The JD Sumner interview is a great read. The Q & A with Ernst is very interesting in regards to future releases on the FTD label, eg, the 1961 Benefit show in `ep` format. The news and reviews are as ever top notch. A very re-readable mag!!
