The Man And His Music #80

May 31, 2008 | Other

The new issue of the Magazine is out. The new TMAHM contains next to the usual news, reviews and series a funny collection of Elvis' greatest hits (fight scenes in movies that is), a great interview with the drummer of the Sweets, Jerome 'Stum' Monroe, who replaced Ronnie Tutt on three occasions. Barbara Eden,  Flaming co-Star, is also subject of an interview and Gordon Minto sheds his light on the infamous 1973 bargain by RCA. For more details on the magazine and subscriptions go to our magazine section.

Man I love this magazine. Of the all the rubber ducks, tins, & candles produced by the official Elvis folks, its nice to know there is a publication that actually looks in depth at the man & his music. If there were more mags like this, perhaps Elvis wouldnt be looked at as a marketing tool and his fans like religious worshipers for buying these products.

Excellant as always. Great interesting pics on pages 34 & 35 (another place another time), fantastic interviews etc etc. Gets better all the time. Only downside is the quarterly release periods. It just isn't frequent enough.

Ive subscribed to this great mag for quite a while now and consider Trevor and Gordon to be spot on 99% of the time with their honest reviews and comment.
