The ultimatum that EPE sent them read: "You cannot sell this product unless we're given a cut of it. We want 95% plus all distribution rights. You cannot refuse this offer because we rule the world. Please return this letter with a nice big cheque and you can sell any old tripe you want. Thank you."

The name is unfortunately still being advertised on their website. EPE I hope you stamp on this quick as it is completely disrespectful. I cannot believe that a company could come up with this idea. How idiotic their marketing team must be. How little they know of the man...

Tasteless indeed but that what you get in a world that pays to see fat Elvis impersonators in tasteless jumpsuits. The blue haired ladies crowd loves these guys and may even buy this crap.

So going by what Richard Stables is saying EPE are damned if they do and Damned if they don't.They can't win with some people.Getting back to the name of this ice cream It is in the hands of their legal department so at least they are doing something about it.

It's incredible what's going on at EPE. SOmeone is apparently asleep at the switch or they lie a lot. I can't believe they didn't know about this ice cream. Our little fan club put on an Elvis festival in April to raise money for a charity. The attorney for EPE based in NYC called our fan club president in a New York minute threating us with legal action if we put on an Elvis contest. You'll never convince me that EPE doesn't know what's going on around the world when it can know of a little Elvis festival in Toledo, Ohio!

Well, I know of a firm that is named "Elvis" and has a crown in it's logo - a very clear reference to the king. I sent the licensing department at EPE an email and asked them if it were legal, and/or if the firm owner had asked for permission. I've gotten no reply from EPE, not even a "thanks for your interest; however using "Elvis" as a company name is something we can't do nothing about" (if it's legal to use "Elvis" as a firm name) ...seems to me like EPE is sometimes sleeping
