We want to give everyone an update on Sylvia. Sylvia was released from the hospital Tuesday, 7/17/01 and will continue to receive therapy at home (probably three times a week). She is doing a little better talking and trying to say things, but it is often hard to understand her and she's going to have to work at it. It is also going to take time and therapy before she can take care of herself. The new address to send cards to is:

The fans have been wonderful & have really risen to the occasion -- Sylvia has received cards & notes from all over the world. Sylvia wants to thank all the wonderful people who have written to her and tell them how much their love and caring mean to her. Myrna Smith & Estelle Brown also want to thank the fans for their outpouring of love for Sylvia. Bottom line is that Sylvia needs motivation to want to work to get better, and that's why it's so important to keep the cards coming. Please pass this on to every Elvis fan you know.
