What a great pity that RIAA - BMG / RCA etc are so out of date with their lackluster survey. Elvis presley sold a BILLION in 1985. By now, it must have gone over the 2 BILLION mark. Who the sheet is garth Brook? never even heard of him in my life. Beatles yes, Tom Jones yes, Westlife yes..but who is this stranger? Who cares anyway.. because ELVIS PRESLEY was, is and will always be the true King Of The Whole Wide World. Congratulations El, at 69 you are still super strong - 50 years later That's Alright Mama is still very much Alright!

It is about time the RIAA and BMG/RCA got there act together. I wish we knew the REAL total on his recordings. Singles were where Elvis was the real King of sales. I am glad we can quit hearing Garth Brooks is the top selling solo artist of all time. Nothing against him but I cringed every time I read that because I knew it was"nt true but I also knew that millions of people probably believed what they read. Happy 69th Elvis. This is a happy day and it is long past due.
