Shelley Winters Dies

Actress Shelley Winters has died from heart failure aged 85. She had been in ill-health following a heart attack last October. Ms Winters had a long and distiguished career as a stage, TV and film actress, winning Academy Awards as supporting actress in "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "A Patch of Blue". Her other credits included "Elvis", starring Kurt Russell, in which Ms Winters played Gladys Presley.
