Sheila Ryan, Elvis' girlfriend for a while in 1974 passed away just before her 60th birthday after a battle against cancer.

So sorry to hear about this. I always liked Sheila. I was looking forward to reading her book, "FAME ON ME". I hope someone will publish it, even though she's gone. My heart goes out to her family and especially Scott. Just way too young to die. R.I.P. Sheila. You will be missed.

59 is way too young to leave this world. I am very sad to hear of her passing. She will live on, in the Elvis world, in photos, of her and Elvis, and even on audio, when Elvis says in the studio, "Sheila, let me sing to you baby", (or something similiar to that) So sorry to hear she is gone.

Very sad indeed. A very smart, hip, candid , lady who I thought had a lot of class. I think her & Elvis made a good couple, but perhaps she was a bit much for him in some ways. RIP

I found her interviews quite candid if not at times a little too personal. RIP Sheila. Cancer is an awful desease and I pray it will be curable one day.
