Elvis recorded around 800 songs during his recording career in the studio, at home or on stage. From these titles David Neale has identified about 450 different titles that were recorded by someone else before Elvis recorded them in his book “Roots of Elvis”. It provides interesting background information to the songs, some going back to the 19th century.
