Sony Music will release the 4 CD box set, 'Elvis Live In Las Vegas' on September 18 packaged in a hard back book format case similar to recent releases of 'Young Man With The Big Beat', 'Today, Tomorrow and Forever', 'The Complete '68 Comeback Special' and 'Walk A Mile In My Shoes'. 'Live In Las Vegas' is a 4CD set compiling a comprehensive collection of Elvis’ legendary appearances in Las Vegas from 1956 -1975 and includes 89 recordings, a detailed 32 page booklet and plenty of rare photos.

A great box set and I'm glad it's being re-released. Elvis Presley's name is still huge in Vegas and a C.D. box set like this is not only the history of Elvis, but also the history of Las Vegas.

Great to see this re-released. And excellent set. Great cover too and very robust. I would love if TTWII and ARTIST of the century were also released I this type of cover, my current copies have become tatty.

The oldscudder is right. I always see this used in what few stores we have left. Also, wasn't this the lowest selling boxset of them all? What is the point in a re-release? Who is this targeted for? CDs boxes are not the allure they once were.
