I do have several Friday Music releases on vinyl. They are excellent. I won.t be buying this one though. I do have the FTD extended version of this LP on CD. I quite enjoy it.

I'll buy it as my old vinyl copy is , well, old.

circleG: Your vinyl copy may be old, but it's sourced from analog tapes. It's my understanding (I could be wrong) that Friday Music releases are sourced from digital. They do look and sound great, however.

I still have a 1973 release on vinyl that is still sealed, back then I used to buy 2 copies one to open and one to keep sealed.

snowplow floater, "Raised On Rock" was actually the second album in Elvis' career to have the same front and back cover... "Double Trouble" was the first in 1967. The slight difference on the "Raised On Rock" album was that the back cover featured "For Ol' Times Sake" at the top... but as you mentioned, it had the same photo shot on both sides.

Yes JerryNodak you are right and there is a difference in sound but sometimes there's an improvement. My old copy is a Spanish print so it'll be interesting comparing the two.
