The last question "It is good that EPE finally supports impersonators" got a very clear answer from our members: 82% think it is a bad idea. Not surprising when reading all the reactions to the news and articles about the subject. Subsequently we have a new question: "ElvisNews should ignore all news about impersonators".

I can take them or leave them. Only a few of them are worth watching. I do like the idea that EPE is finally recognizing them. Hopefully they will be able to weed out the worst ones. But they are only tribute artist. The worst thing about tribute artist is that the news media likes to focus on the worst ones. Especially the ones that are overweight, have sloppy outfits, bad wigs and sideburns. I am sure EPE will attempt to make the tribute artists look as professionally as they can. I do not think ElvisNews should ignore all news about impersonators but limit the news.

I've seen some bad ones, but I've seen some really good ones too. Either way it's usually good fun, so why always take the mick with these guys?

Not all ETA’s are strict “impersonators” some try to give the feeling of an Elvis concert without getting dressed up and not necessarily playing in the style of the 70’s shows. I’m glad EPE is finally recognising these artists and all those who voted against this in the poll should realise that they are missing out on a fun Elvis themed night. Remember “Just Pretend”!
