hey pacer1965. I would buy the clean version, so I could play it when my kids are home. Bad language is not my cup of tea.

oh give the girl a break ! your all so bitchy, got your hand bags at the ready have you all !!?. This is Elvis" daughter who he loved more than anything and she loved her father, I dont think hed be too impressed with your dirty wee comments about her. Your all full of so much hate for someone youv never met, pathetic ! and Keith does track 7 refer to yourself, just wondering ?

I ain't buying it.

Hang on just a minute, pacer! 11 tracks is that all? have you seen the length of Elvis' albums? A bit hypocritical methinks! I don't people should buy the album cos it's Elvis's daughter, but only if they like the music. I don't, but it doesn't mean she shouldn't have a career.

I quite liked some of the tracks on her last album so I'll give this one a listen, I hope it's a bit more up-beat than the last one though. I think some people are a bit harsh, as far as I know, she never murdered anyone!

Job, why do you react? You can't write! I don't like her music either, and I wonder why she is here with her albums, since it is not Elvis related... but to say she smells nasty? Do you know her that well?
pacer1965 wrote on February 19, 2005
Shaneleebrown I did not know we were talking about Elvis' albums. I was suprised there was just 11 tracks on there. I Was not saying it to be nasty.T he tracks are probably over 4 minutes long anyway. Most songs from any singer out today are longer than Elvis'. When Elvis was around songs were alot shorter compared too todays artists.

It's well known around the industry that there were nearly as many returns as there were sales on Lisa's debut album a couple of years back, despite a mammoth publicity campaign by both Capitol and Lisa herself. If not for her last name, it's highly unlikely that she'd have gotten a second shot with a major label like Capitol. I don't know the woman; I have no axe to grind with her; and since she's Elvis's only daughter, I wish her nothing but high tides and green grass in life. However, I did see her perform at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park when she was promoting her debut release and I left the club convinced that she had inherited all of her musical talent from the Beaulieu side of the family. I'll definitely take a pass this time around, thanks.

I like to see LMP suceed in her singing career but what I dont understand is why she has to use such explicit, foul, abusive, offensive, obscene, and dirty lyrics to express herself. I hope this CD is more positive than the last one which was so sad, dark, and gloomy. I remember LMP when she was young and innoncent and have seen pictures of her when she was a young girl around Graceland with her family. In those pictures you will see a totally differen LMP who was always smiling. Her daddy spoiled her to the core because he had that unconditonal love for her but she just seems so much different than her daddy.

When Lisa's 1st record finally came out, it did sound like a very angry woman. Perusing the lyrics to the songs she wrote (unlike Elvis) and sings on her initial album is like listening to an autobiographical song verse of a troubled and confused youth. How could she be anything else? I love reading books about Elvis' strange life and I love Lisa's 1st album. If you all remember when she was making the required tour to promte the album, she stumbled and fell on an early morning tv sthow from NYC while she was singing! Whoops! She needs to take her career seriously. She is very wealthy and need not perform, but lets hope she continues and polishes her act.

Thanks for opportunity to say that I have a new outlook on Lisa Maries talent. What I have heard of the new CD songs. does show a change in her writing. I think she is brilliant in her writing and I think her voice has a maturity about it.If she would just produce a trial song {Elvis selection} for us fans. Million seller...1 st/ day. The song " Don`t Cry Daddy "she recorded & video for the fans back at the 20 th/ anniversity & MidsouthCol, would be a millon seller 3 times over. Her voicewas great & w cold understand the words. Just a thought & wish from a fan of her Dad and a fan of hers.We wish this CD a million too.love & prayers SuZie
