The Stamps’ bass singer Richard Sterban’s has finished writing his memoir book. "From Elvis to Elvira. My life on stage" will be released in the next few months. Prior to joining The Oak Ridge Boys, Sterban (now 69) toured with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, who were singing backup for Elvis Presley at that time.
